Our riding camps are held during school holidays for children from 7 years of age upwards.

We provide overnight accommodation and supervision for up to 20 students at a time.

Children will learn everything on how to care for a pony, grooming them, care of saddlery and general stable duties.

Camp costs start at $150 per child per day (GST incl.) and we provide meals, accommodation and entertainment (including a visit to Hungry Jacks and the Cinema) for the 5 days duration. Camp application forms can be downloaded from our website. Please check the latest news for upcoming camps.

Riding Lessons During Camp

These include formal flat lessons in the morning where children are graded according to ability levels. In the afternoons we do lunge lessons (for beginners), some jumping lessons, a trail ride and an afternoon of mounted games as well as a riding display on the final afternoon.

We also have ground lectures for the children to teach them parts of pony, saddlery and caring for these and basic horsemanship skills.

We have team competitions during the camp to provide some competitive atmosphere as well as a quiz night and a talent night.
